Overview

This 800kW biogas CHP (Combined Heat and Power) generator set adopts Yuchai high-efficiency gas engine, specially optimized for low calorific value biogas from animal manure and landfill waste. Different from ordinary gas generators, this CHP unit realizes cogeneration of heat and electricity: the engine generates electricity, and the waste heat from exhaust and cooling system is recycled to supply heating for fermentation tanks, factory heating or hot water. It helps project owners cut energy cost and meet carbon reduction requirements.

The unit can work stably with biogas after desulfurization, filtration and dehydration. It is a mature power solution for biogas EPC contractors, large pig/cattle farms and municipal landfill projects across Southeast Asia and Europe.
