Validated through rigorous mechanical testing and optimized standardized combustion technology, the YC16VCG‑2000N5HC delivers high reliability, high‑efficiency low‑emission performance and reduced maintenance costs. It is well‑suited for diverse natural‑gas and biogas power‑generation projects for global industrial clients.

High Reliability

Built upon Yuchai’s proven design and manufacturing platform, this gas genset adopts self‑developed high‑temperature wear‑resistant materials and high‑strength core components, including cylinder block, cylinder head, camshaft, crankshaft and shared base frame. These upgrades greatly improve overall product reliability and long‑term durability for continuous‑run power‑plant applications.

High‑Efficiency & Eco‑Friendly Performance

Advanced core technologies are deployed for clean and stable gas combustion: lean‑burn strategy, high‑energy capacitor ignition module, Yuchai‑patented combustion chamber, high‑efficiency turbocharger and closed‑loop oxygen‑sensor air‑fuel‑ratio control. These features realize precise air‑gas ratio regulation, consistent performance and low exhaust emissions.

Yuchai‑patented rear gear‑housing with point‑line meshing gear design plus four‑valve technology effectively cuts mechanical noise, exhaust noise and exhaust temperature of the powertrain. It offers operator‑friendly operation and reduced environmental impact.

Low‑Cost Maintenance

Patented cylinder liner, piston ring and valve‑seal technologies significantly reduce lube‑oil consumption. The lube‑oil service interval can extend to over 1,000 operating hours. Widely‑shared, easy‑to‑service spare‑part components further lower the whole‑life‑cycle maintenance expenditure of power‑generation facilities.

Comprehensive Safety Protection

The unit is managed by an independent, mature genset control cabinet for stable system operation. Individual‑cylinder knock monitoring enables real‑time operating‑condition tracking. Crankcase and intake‑pipe explosion‑proof valves are fitted as standard to guarantee safe running.

Alternator Performance

The matched alternator features high power‑generation efficiency, low temperature rise, minor waveform distortion and excellent dynamic response.
